SCHOOL VISITS
IT ALL STARTS IN THE CLASSROOM
One of my favorite ways to spread The Be Nice Programs message is in the classroom. I have the opportunity to not only share my own stories but hear stories of others. During my visits, I read them the kindness book of the month. After my readings, I teach the students what bullying truly is as well as teaching them ways to prevent it. This year I added a new element into the curriculum which was EMPATHY. Discovering how important empathy is and how if we had more of it there would be no bullying, I made it my mission to educate the students on empathy.
COVID-19
Due to Covid many schools are either virtual or no longer allowing outside visitors for the safety of everyone.
This year I will be doing virtual online classroom visits through zoom!
